Spijkers En Spijkers presented their collection at Il Bottaccio on saturday the 17th of September in the morning.
Background:
Spijkers En Spijkers are Dutch designers, twins who studied at the Arnhem Academy of arts and have been creating collections for over 10 years.
The Spring Summer 2012 collection was made of dresses where geometrical shapes, especially stars, would meet charleston-inspired fringes, while the headscarves conveyed an oriental atmosphere.
Very classy for the material but original due to the patterns chosen, the collection led to some nice pieces, as interesting in the front shapes as in the back ones (see last picture).
