Ashley Isham SS12, 16th September 2011, London Fashion Week

On friday the 16th of September in the evening, Ashley Isham presented his collection at Il Bottacio.

Background:

Ashley Isham is a Singaporean designer who took on courses first at the London
College of Fashion, and later at Central St Martin's College. He became famous by designing an outfit for Zara Phillips (the daughter of Princess Anne) at the Royal Ascot Events of 2002.

The Spring / Summer 2012 collection is mainly based on roman drapes over short and long dresses made of jersey, and paisley chiffon. Some of them are also made of golden leather with stylish cuts, while the colours of the set range from summery plain blue or beige to flowery patterns. Some of the models were wearing bridal weils, decorated with different ornaments and russian-inspired crowns.
