Saigon Photoshooting II

Hi everyone !

I had a second chance to make a photoshooting in Saigon, Vietnam,
and wanted to share the results with you !

I had a total of four outfits for the day which I chose and accessorized carefully:

The first one, below, was a light crème short dress with some tutu layers. It fitted perfectly with my Giuseppe Zanotti snake skin shoes !
The photographer took me near one of the markets of the city, and we borrowed one of the tuk-tuk that were on the road to make a couple more pictures.

The second one was a long red dress with the matching flowers,
which I found amazing for the volume it had.

The third one was a pink/orange long dress with a bow on the side. I chose to add to my outfit a chains structure going along the front and the back like a cape.

The last outfit was my favourite: I added a few accessories to a white tutu dress
(a black pearls belt bought on some market in holidays and a cardigan
made up from sleeves only, from Ann Summers).
The setting of the temple was an ideal place for a shooting, something that I would never have found in Europe. The photographer even arranged that we could take pictures inside the temple.

I would like to thank my photoshooting team for arranging the transport,
hair and makeup all day, it was a wonderful experience !
This photoshooting was another great moment of my holidays, and I hope I will have soon other occasions to meet new people and get shots done in Asia again !

See you soon !

Photoshooting in Saigon, Vietnam, with Thai Pham

Hello everyone !

First I would like to apologize on the delay for the articles currently. My job kept me
really busy with a LOT of overtime (even weekend-wise), and I had to focus on survival
functions like sleeping and eating.

Today I have at least some time to keep you updated, and I would like to show you one of my last photoshootings in date: My shooting in Vietnam, with photographer Thai Pham, who works for Elle Vietnam. (https://www.facebook.com/ThaiPhamPhotography)

The shooting took place in Ho CHi Minh City, on another sunny Vietnamese day. It was about 30 to 35 degrees, and I was kind of struggling to keep the makeup fresh throughout the day between every session.

I had 3 different outfits on the day, and me and the photographer went to 4 or 5 different places. We were moving from place to place by using his Vespa, and left the clothes in some of his friends places nearby before walking around for the shootings.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the great experience with all the people I met
during the day on the streets, on the markets (very friendly and honest), and the fact of being
on the road, surrounded by a few other hundreds of people on motorbikes going along the way
(traffic in Vietnam is really heavy, and mainly created by motorcycles as they are cheaper
to buy, and get less taxed than the cars).

The heat was making the whole sessions very tiring, but every single place was very particular and wonderful, and it was properly enjoyable to be able to do a shooting in a country where the culture / habits are so different from Western Europe.

I survived mostly on cakes and coconut juice during the whole day (which I cannot complain about: on the contrary I loved it!) and came back home in the evening to my friend's place, exhausted but with my head full of dreams !

Thai Pham always found very interesting angles for the pictures and had very good ideas in terms of editing the pictures colours/shades after the shooting. a BIG thanks to him !

This definitely was one of my best experiences so far,
and I really hope there will be many more like this !
