On Friday, the 16th of September Bernard Chandran presented his Spring / Summer collection at "Il Bottacio", nearby Hyde Park
Background:
Bernard Chandran is a malaysian designer who studied fashion in Malaysia and at the Paris Fashion School. He initially developed his brand through a shop in Kuala Lumpur, before expanding abroad.
For this collection he was inspired by the 50s and also by his own mother. He presented a variety of clothes in different colours (grey, silver, turquoise blue, green), mixing the 50s stylish shapes with modern materials (jersey, silk satin, feathers), giving to the clothes a sophisticated twist.
